Taking Notes

Who or what inspired you to take up music?

From a personal perspective, I believe music is a fire you can not put out. Music has been in my family since 1861. Dad started the fire, "somebody, put me out!" LOL.

What was the most unusual or memorable gig you've ever played?

Live at Libby's, Nashville, Tenn. The year -- 1991. Venue of 5,000 people. The crowd accepted me well as I performed a Garth Brooks hit, "If Tomorrow Never Comes."

What musician/celebrity/historical person would you most like to have dinner with?

Hank Williams Sr. and Elvis

What was the last book you read?

Holy Bible

What CD/tape/music is in your car/home stereo/iPod right now?

"Hillbilly Heart"

What is your favorite movie?

"Titanic"

What was the best concert you ever attended?

George Thorogood and the Delaware Destroyers. The year I really don't remember but I do remember the location. It was in Red Rocks arena in Denver, Colo. It was the Rolling Stones, the Who, the Scorpions, John Cougar Mellencamp and Jethro Tull.

"If I didn't play music, I would . . .

Go crazy.

"I'd sell my soul for . . .

Nothing.
