Who or what inspired you to take up music?

     
Listening to "A Trick of the Tail" (Genesis) and "Wish You Were Here" (Pink Floyd) around '75/'76.
 
What was the most unusual or memorable gig you've ever played?
     
Either the opening of the Hells Angels clubhouse in Rio (playing while the guys shot rockets at an overpass nearby trying to hit cars) or playing in an open-air Christian rock festival for 5,000 kids engaged in the wildest mosh pit ever. Both gigs during the same week in '94 (different bands, of course).
 
What musician/celebrity/historical person would you most like to have dinner with?
     
The late Arthur C. Clarke (science fiction writer).
 
What was the last book you read?

     
"The Last Theorem" by Arthur C. Clarke and Frederik Pohl.
 
What CD/tape/music is in your car/home stereo/iPod right now?
     
"Tales from Topographic Oceans" by Yes.
 
What is your favorite movie?
     
"Cheech and Chong's Up in Smoke."
 
What was the best concert you ever attended?

     
As a show, Pink Floyd's "The Wall" in London, '80. For the music, a tie between Genesis, Rio, '77, and PFM (Italian prog rock band), Philly, '05.
