While I am a huge fan of The Nexus, they seem a tad
bit too overpowering with WWE's pay-per-view being Sunday.
I guess it does bring some intrigue into the
matches, but so many key superstars are getting beat down on a regular basis
that the matches are getting lost in the shuffle.
I thought WWE delivered a strong NXT show
Tuesday.
The matches/angles:
1. Mark Henry (pictured above, Getty Images)/Lucky
Cannon beat The Miz/Alex Riley. REACT: Lucky Cannon looked much better than in
past weeks. He should survive the next cut. I like how The Miz-Mark Henry feud
from Raw was followed up on.
2. "The Showtime" Percy Watson show. REACT: Purpose
accomplished in setting up the main event. Watson still annoys me.
3. The Nexus wins the 20-Man Over-the-Top Rope Battle Royal. REACT:
Strength in numbers. The Miz was smart to bail. I like the "You're either Nexus
or you're against us" phrase.

Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff no-show this week's
tapings. REACT: If Paul Heyman is coming in, that's the reason why.
Dixie Carter agrees to give the ECW guys full
control of the Aug. 8 Hard Justice PPV, taking a dig at Vince McMahon after
Tommy Dreamer said Vince McMahon brought ECW back and ruined it. REACT: I'll
give this thing a chance, but I'm not hopeful.

The Undertaker may not return until after
Summerslam. REACT: Man, he is struggling with injuries.
