PWInsider.com reported Sunday that Kevin Nash is in a hospital in Charlotte, N.C., with a staph infection in his elbow. The report said he may have blood poisoning.
On Monday, Nash underwent surgery. He is on heavy antibiotics, and doctors were still awaiting test results as of Tuesday. It was feared Nash may have MRSA.
TNA Wrestling said Nash's infection is from overseas, but PWInsider.com said sources say it may be due to a recent tattoo that completely covers his right arm.
Nash's return date is unknown.
