These days, "I think I have a real-life version of that going on with Julie," the standup comedian, actor and television producer said.

That would be former Playboy Playmate Julie McCullough, who portrayed a nanny on the sitcom "Growing Pains," a late '80s/early '90s sitcom. She and Price have teamed up for a standup comedy show dubbed the "Beauty and the Dweeb Tour." The tour plays July 30-31 at Bonkerz Comedy Club.

"I'm acting out my character on the show," Price said. "I am truly in love with Julie. It's not a promotional gimmick. I'm not kidding. But she wants a drummer, or a guy with a motorcycle who will be mean to her."

The "Beauty and the Dweeb Tour" will present the duo in shows at 8 and 10 p.m. July 30-31 at Bonkerz Comedy Club in the LaPlaya Resort & Suites, 2500 N. Atlantic Ave., Daytona Beach. Tickets are $20, and are available at the front desk of the LaPlaya. For more information, call 386-672-0990.

Price also was co-executive producer and creator of "Green Collar Comedy," a one-hour special that aired on Showtime last spring and combined an environmental theme with humor.

Price and McCullough are performing separately during their standup tour.
