Stetson University's Black Student Association plans its first African-American Art and Music Festival from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday in front of Hulley Tower, 421 N. Woodland Blvd., DeLand.

The festival will include music by African-American artists and artifacts from the collections of the DeLand African-American Museum of Art and Stetson Professor Patrick Coggins. Those attending might also make their own art and music, have their portraits done, faces painted and enjoy ethnic food.
