On February 13, 2010, at 2pm, a family, fun program will be presented at the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center to celebrate Ormond Beach and its place in Florida history. The event will support the City of Ormond Beach and the Ormond Beach Historical Society.

The program features Chris Kahl and Bob Patterson, singers, musicians and storytellers who will present Florida and Ormond in both song and story. Ron and Alice Howell, authors, filmmakers and reenactors will appear in period costume and debut their new, never before shown, short film "Early Ormond." This film tells the story of the New Britain colony and its transformation to Ormond through the period of 1875-1905.
Chris Kahl, Bob Patterson and the Howells will be available after the show for questions and answers. In addition, music CD's, "Early Ormond" DVD's, books about Ormond and other related merchandise will be on sale.
