ROBIN016ACC.JPGPoor Robin Williams.

Not long after the actor-comedian returned to stand-up comedy by embarking on a one-man national tour, his heart gave out. Just before Williams was scheduled to perform in Florida last spring, he was admitted to a hospital and discovered he needed heart surgery. His remaining shows were postponed.

After undergoing a successful aortic valve replacement (with a cow-supplied part), Williams is back with his "Weapons of Self Destruction Tour." (Despite the irony, that was the title Williams gave his tour long before his body almost self-destructed.)

Williams has two upcoming Florida shows.

He'll perform at 8 p.m. Oct. 17 at the Moran Theater of the Times Union Performing Arts Center in Jacksonville. Tickets are $49.50-$439.50 (yes, you read that top ticket price correctly).

Williams also will perform at 8 p.m. Oct. 23 at the UCF Arena in Orlando. Tickets are $49.50-$435.00 (yes, you read that price correctly again).

Tickets to both shows are available at Ticketmaster.

"It's wonderful to have a cow valve," Williams said after his surgery. "If you don't mind the grazing."
