Diners line up for lunch at Jack & Lu's

Jack and Lu's Subs and Grill was already well-known to Accent staffers as a takeout option -- they even deliver -- but Food Editor Laurie Sterbens and three8six.com Editor Chrissy Clary decided to sneak out for lunch to check it out in person recently.

Assistant Managing Editor Nick Klasne has lived in Volusia County for nearly 20 years with his wife, Catherine, but the first time he ate at the landmark Gene's Steak House was in 2007. He's decided it's time to visit the 61-year-old restaurant more frequently.
