TNA Wrestling got back on
track Thursday night with a pretty solid show.
Analysis and grade: Twice as much good (matches and fresh feud angles) as bad. The show is something to build on. B.

WWE NXT
The Dixie Carter promo started out slow for my
liking, but I thought it ended strongly when Carter was verbally going at it
with Ric Flair. It was actually one of the best parts of the show. I didn't care for Carter's husband getting involved, but it led
to Hulk Hogan coming out. I will never tire of Flair vs. Hogan.
Samoa Joe beats Orlando Jordan: Strange Orlando
pre-match segment with a doll. Samoa Joe is a wild card in the entire EV 2.0,
Hogan and Flair groups. Decent match.
Kevin Nash beats Jeff Jarrett: I really liked the
ring psychology used with the turnbuckle, and Sting later coming out for the
assist. Is Sting vs. Hogan actually going to happen? It sure looks like it.
Maybe in Daytona Beach?
Beer Money beats the FBI: Squash, but
expected.
Motor City Machine Guns beat Generation Me: There
were a few crazy spots here. Good stuff.
Angelina Love/Velvet Sky vs. Madison Rayne/mystery
biker angle: Good to see the former duo back together. A decent
catfight.
Rhino vs. Abyss angle: Something different, in a
good way.
Desmond Wolfe beat Stevie Richards: Wolfe's stock
has sunk.
Kurt Angle/The Pope/Mr. Anderson/Jeff Hardy beat AJ
Styles/Kazarian/Douglas Williams/Matt Morgan: Hardy looked solid here. I liked
the post-match interaction between Angle and The Pope. Mystery!
Analysis and grade: Twice as much good (matches and fresh feud angles) as bad. The show is something to build on. B.

WWE NXT
Horrible show on Tuesday night. Alex Riley (and
then Kaval) were the best on the microphone. Cody Rhodes was strong in a heel
role vs. Kaval, but his match against MVP went on way too long. It was also the
only match. I did enjoy the trivia contest. I got most of them right. Michael
McGillicutty was just brutal.

Stults was in "October Road," one of my favorite shows of the past few years.
Funny. He recently starred in "She's Out Of My League." Sorry, Geoff. Couldn't
resist. Apparently, though, she wasn't out of your league for several years. You
also have a cool name.
Chyna says she was bitten by a poisonous spider.
REACT: She has pictures to prove it, and they are not
pretty.
