Local wrestling events just keep on popping up.

According to Jeremy Padgett, former WWE wrestler and apparently current TNA Wrestling wrestler Tommy Dreamer is confirmed to wrestle this Saturday in Sanford.

The event is called "Massacre On West 24th Street."

The location is the Sanford Salvation Army Gym (700 West 24th Street).

Doors open at 6 p.m. for the 7 p.m. bell time.

There will be a meet-and-greet autograph session with Dreamer before the show and during intermission, and other stars will also be available for autographs.

In the main event, Dreamer will face challenger "The Stimulus" Sam Shaw for the Vintage Heavyweight Title in a hardcore rules match.

Dreamer is also scheduled to hold a two-hour training seminar during the day. However, please note, this is only for wrestlers. After the seminar, Dreamer will select two of the seminar participants to wrestle later that night. The cost is $50. E-mail cbice@wrestlingvintage.com for more information.
