I can't say I saw many matches of WWE Hall of Famer Jack Brisco, who died Monday at 68.
But I can say I have heard nothing but great things about him.
Brisco had a strong run spanning three decades -- something rare these days.
He was also a collegiate wrestler -- which earns my respect right off the bat.
He also had much success in Florida later in his career, feuding with Harley Race and the Funks.
I do remember his matches from late in his career, and he still stole the show then. I also fondly recall his 2008 Hall of Fame induction.
In 1984, he sold some shares of Georgia Championship Wrestling to Vince McMahon, which helped the then-WWF.
He also retired and stayed retired, another thing that gains my respect.
WWE was nice to mention Brisco on Monday's show.
R.I.P., Jack Brisco.
