9. Snoop Dogg? REACT: O'Dell and Menounos are powerless, for the third time. Next week's Raw guest host making the John Cena-Triple H match makes no sense.
10. Guest hosts grade. D. These two (O'Dell, Menounos) didn't do a better job than most of the solo guest hosts, and that's a shame. I expected more. They didn't make many matches, let others make matches and had little personality in the segments. Menounos' halfway decent wrestling saves their grade from total failure.
The angles:
1. HHH. REACT: Decent opening segment, with a stand-in for Shawn Michaels and the somewhat funny cell phone call and singing message. HHH took some shots at Smackdown (spineless GM, grumpy little troll and Great Khali). I didn't care for the Hornswoggle-mini DX segment, although I did laugh when he kicked the Michaels' cardboard cutout.
2. Chris Jericho/Big Show. REACT: Funny interaction with mentions of past Raw guest hosts Shaquille O'Neal, Bob Barker and Floyd Mayweather.
3. PG rating? REACT: Not with the pitcher-catcher comment (HHH), faked every organism (Santino) and SOS (Kofi Kingston's finisher).
4. The Miz. REACT: I'm glad to see him in a major match at the pay-per-view against John Morrison.
The matches:
1. Unified Tag Team Champion Big Show beats Unified Tag Team Champion Chris Jericho by countout. REACT: A few funny moments, and a decent angle with Jericho's knee injury. But the countout win was sudden and stupid, making this finish weak. Big Show and Jericho are on opposite sides now why?
2. Jillian Hall beats Divas Champion Mickie James. REACT: Jillian is a horrible wrestler.
3. Melina beats Divas Champion Jillian Hall. REACT: Another horrible match, with a major botch on the finisher. Jillian needs to be cut.
4. Cody Rhodes beats Ted DiBiase and John Cena in a Triple Threat Match. REACT: Pretty much a 2-on-1 here with a Cena beatdown, and nothing special. I did like the surprise finish of Rhodes pinning DiBiase.
5. Jack Swagger beats MVP. REACT: Probably the best match of the night, but that doesn't mean much. The finish was sudden.
6. Kofi Kingston beats Evan Bourne. REACT: Thanks, Michael Cole, for reminding us it would be a minor upset if Bourne won. Too quick of a match.
7. Ted DiBiase/Cody Rhodes beat WWE Champion Randy Orton/John Cena. REACT: Slow start, but picked up. Shocker that DiBiase got the pin on Orton, but I like how it was done.
Show grade: D. A small pay-per-view setup and push had my interest, but nothing else on this show did. No one seems to be getting along, and the only reason that's the case is because of the upcoming PPV.
Divas trades:
Raw gets Melina, Eve Torres and The Bella Twins. REACT: Melina will be a better champion than Mickie. The rest is an upgrade on eye candy.
Smackdown gets Beth Phoenix, Mickie James. REACT: Smackdown has been the better wrestling show. This makes sense.
ECW gets Rosa Mendes. REACT: No big deal.
Future guest hosts:
1. Next week is Snoop Dogg. REACT: Raw is in Jacksonville, so if you're a mark of Snoop Dogg or went to see a lengthy match between Triple H and John Cena, make the trip up I-95.
Raw vs. Smackdown at the pay-per-view:
Raw: Big Show, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Cody Rhodes, Jack Swagger, Kofi Kingston, Thursday's winner between Mark Henry and Chris Masters. REACT: With John Cena and Randy Orton off the Raw team due to their match, Raw is at a major disadvantage. I smell a Big Show turn, leading to victory for Smackdown.
Smackdown: I think Smackdown has this one locked up, but we'll see who is on the team.
LATEST HEADLINES AND MY REACTS
JTG stands for Just Too Good. REACT: I had no idea, nor do I care.
And vote for the Hogan-Australia match you want to see. REACT: I voted for Hogan-Mr. Ken Anderson (Ken Kennedy), Hogan-Paul London and Hogan-U Gene.
