And numerous of my "latest headlines and my reacts."
Freddy Prinze Jr.
1. Ice cream bars "make you vomit" comment. REACT: I always liked those ice cream bars.
2. Santino Marella. REACT: Great interaction between Prinze and Marella
3. Zings on Seth Green and Jeremy Piven. REACT: Guest hosts zinging previous guest hosts is funny.
4. Prinze attacked by Orton. REACT: Was anyone else waiting, or hoping, for Buffy to come out and make the save?
5. Back/neck injuries? REACT: Piven's visit to a medical facility was sure quick, wasn't it?
* Prinze's grade: Strong voice and microphone presence, good personality and look, and confidence in his role as guest host. His time was too short, but he got the last laugh on Randy Orton by sending out the face lumberjacks. Grade: B-.

More on guest hosts
1. Next week's guest host: Floyd Mayweather Jr. makes sense from a promotional angle. I wonder if he will have a "Raw Roulette" theme, since the show is from Las Vegas and that was the theme Mike Adamle was supposed to get.
2. MC Hammer to host Raw! REACT: He's a dance, dance, dance, dance, dance machine.
3. Future Raw rumored hosts, according to Stephanie McMahon, are Bob Barker, Al Sharpton, Floyd Mayweather, Nancy O'Dell and LeBron James. In talks are Pete Wentz, Ashlee Simpson, the Osbournes, Danny DeVito, Regis & Kelly, Jimmy Fallon, Rachel Ray, MC Hammer, Woody Harrelson, Serena Williams, Trish Stratus and Ashton Kutcher. REACT: Of this group, LeBron would be biggest name. Mayweather, Simpson, Williams, Kutcher, and, of course, Stratus would also be interesting guests. The rest, while they have name value, sound boring.

The matches
1. United States Champion Kofi Kingston beats Carlito. REACT: Slow start, but picked up for a strong finish.
2. The Miz beats Evan Bourne. REACT: The Miz was aggressive, as he usually is. Bourne got some good offense in during this solid match. The result makes sense since The Miz wants to have the "most remarkable turnaround in WWE history" by beating Kofi for the U.S. Championship. I'm not sure why this qualifies as such a huge turnaround, though.
3. Divas Champion Mickie James beats Gail Kim. REACT: I had forgotten Kim earned a title shot. The rollups and same moves were nicely done, but the ending was bizarre. I think it was botched, I'm not sure. The match was decent, though.
4. MVP beats Jack Swagger by disqualification. REACT: No buildup and rushed. although it had a smart and quick finish to get it on the Summerslam card.
5. Hornswoggle beats Chavo Guerrero in a Falls Count Anywhere Match. REACT: I am waiting for Hornswoggle to win by pinning someone under the ring. The "Let's Go Blues" chant was loud. Poor, Chavo. Yes, that was Macaulay Culkin backstage.
6. WWE Champion Randy Orton/John Cena beat Unified Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho/Big Show. REACT: The lumberjacks kind of made this match strange -- since they were for Orton, that hurt Cena and helped the heels (Big Show and Chris Jericho) -- who still couldn't win! Shame this match was joined in progress. Orton refusing to tag Cena was not a surprise. Props to Jericho for being pinned by Cena. Cena and Orton both left strong, which was wise.

The angles
1. DX. REACT: The "greatest hits" segment sure wasn't "PG." It was weird seeing Chyna numerous times. The backstage stops with Jillian singing and Santino getting superkicked were funny. Who would have thought DX would have been ambushed and beaten down by The Legacy? This was a nice surprise.
2. John Cena promo. REACT: Funny, as usual, bolstered by his "complaining" angle.
3. Main event WWE.com poll. REACT: I predicted on the nose (76 percent) the percentage of fans who thought Cena/Orton would win.
