Predictions for this Sunday's WWE pay-per-view, and Linda Hogan is doing what?
PREDICTIONS FOR SUNDAY'S ARMAGEDDON
World Heavyweight Champion John Cena defends against Chris Jericho: Cena is WWE's cash cow. He'll hold the strap going into and leaving WrestleMania XXV.
WWE Champion Edge defends against Triple H and Jeff Hardy: Edge didn't win the title to give it right back. He needs to be rebuilt back up, and he'll defend it at WrestleMania XXV. Plus, Hardy lost to Chris Jericho on Raw.
Batista vs. Randy Orton: Batista has to win this one, you would think, since he was pinned by Orton on Raw. However, Orton has the numbers game, so I'm giving him the edge.
ECW Champion Matt Hardy vs. Vladimir Kozlov. REACT: Kozlov making a move to ECW? Sure looks like it. My guess is that he'll knock off Hardy and win. I say that because WWE named Kozlov its breakout star for 2008, so it obviously has high hopes for him. On ECW, he can net some success.
Fit Finlay vs. Mark Henry in a Belfast Brawl: Wow. Little publicity for this match. I'll go with Henry, for two reasons: 1) He needs the win more; 2) Finlay seems to have lost some character/angle momentum.
Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk for an Intercontinental Title shot against William Regal: Something tells me Mysterio will get the upset here. Punk doesn't need the Intercontinental Title.
HOGAN FAMILY UPDATE
According to TMZ.com, Hulk Hogan said Linda allegedly spent $4,000 for a photo shoot with her dog. This after she asked for another $400,000 in attorney fees. The court granted her that $400,000, but after seeing her expenditures, they put it in a seperate account so she can't blow the money on stupid stuff. Want stupid? Hogan said she got a hotel room at the mall for only three or four hours, while she want shopping before leaving! REACT: If anyone is wondering how the economy is still surviving, thank Linda Hogan. Now that she won't be able to waste (I mean spend) money, the economy will get even worse!
LATEST HEADLINES AND MY REACTS
WWE's Cyber Sunday is third-lowest pay-per-view in WWE history. REACT: I attribute some of this to the economy. I'm surprised this angle did so poorly, given the added fan interaction.
Kurt Angle telling friends he is considering a WWE return. REACT: Considering, yes. But, if it happens, we're talking about a massively reduced schedule for him.
WWE releases Snitsky. REACT: This is a shocker, as he stuck around for quite awhile without being used.
WWE Slammy Awards reportedly given out based on angles. REACT: That explains why I didn't go perfect on my predictions. I'd rather they were honest Slammys.
Oscar De La Hoya turned down WrestleMania appearance and then has the biggest PPV of the year in his fight against Manny Pacquiao. REACT: This is troubling, as boxing is on the downswing.
Mickey Rourke says he tried to achieve the look of Lex Luger in "The Wrestler." REACT: Interesting Rourke would select Luger.
John Cena's answer to a reporter about the Jeff Hardy being unconscious angle, said, "I can't believe CNN actually picked that up right? I don't know how to tell you this, but WWE stands for World Wrestling Entertainment. Have I answered your question?" REACT: This is why Cena is WWE's top guy. Great answer.
TNA searching for top babyface knockout. REACT: This is why TNA is interested in Torrie Wilson and Victoria.
Beth Phoenix says she wants to wrestle Trish Stratus or Melina at WrestleMania XXV. REACT: It's very likely Phoenix will be in the women's main event, so one of these two opponents is likely. It would also be a big-time caliber women's match.
