WWE and TNA Wrestling:
On TV:

WWE Smackdown: Jeff Hardy is on a roll, even if he needed an assist from The Big Show to beat The Undertaker. Seriously, when's the last time The Undertaker lost on TV? Is WWE going to go anywhere with the Festus-Maria angle? I'm thinking not. As the critics are quick to point out, most think Michelle McCool will remain Divas champion as long as she is dating The Undertaker in real life. Poor MVP. He needs his losing streak to end now.

WWE's FCW: My taping from Saturday didn't air the first 30 minutes of the show. The only notable thing had Randy Orton saying he would be WWE Champion very soon. We'll see about that. Orton is involved in three angles (Cena-Jericho winner, Batista feud tease, and Rhodes/DiBiase/Manu), so he might have too much going on right now to win the world title.

WWE Raw: Survivor Series sure did give Raw some intriguing matchups and pairups. Randy Orton beating CM Punk makes sense, assuming WWE continues the feud and doesn't squash Punk further. I'm glad William Regal (Intercontinental Champion) and Matt Hardy (ECW Champion) had a double countout, as both are titleholders. While I'm not too high on Kofi Kingston being depushed into this angle, I'm glad WWE is utilizing the injured Evan Bourne in an angle with the promising Mike Knox. The rightful man (JBL) got the pin in his teaming with Kane vs. Cryme Tyme. The Miz's pin on HBK in their tag-team match was huge for the former reality TV star. Manu impressed me in his match against Batista. It was strange seeing Beth Phoenix helping out the faces in the divas match aftermath. The Raw Superstar Forum was something nicely different and effective.

TNA Wrestling: Final Resolution is Dec. 7. TNA Wrestling taped Thursday's show last week.

WWE's ECW: John Morrison and The Miz sure did get a lot of microphone time. I'm not sure DJ Gabriel's gimmick has a future. Jack Swagger-Tommy Morrison remains interesting.

WrestleMania XXV (April 5, 2009): Tickets are on sale through Ticketmaster.
