Jim Ross updates us on the WWE Hall of Fame, along with weekly headlines and my reacts.

Back in April, a few days after WrestleMania XIV in Orlando, I e-mailed Jim Ross to ask him about rumors of WWE building a Hall of Fame either in Orlando or Stamford, Conn.

Ross e-mailed me back and told me he thought "any 'tourist' area like Orlando would be great." Ross also said "Stamford holds equity simply because it can constantly be under the watchful eye of the corporate types."

I decided to ask Ross the latest as to any update on a location for the WWE Hall of Fame. Here's what he said earlier this week:

"I've heard nothing. I'm assuming that the WWE has bigger fish to fry these days than investing in a new entity such as a HOF. I do think it will happen but when is another question."

I also asked Ross for a quick list of southpaws (left-handers) in WWE. His response was: "I think the Colon's are both left-handed and perhaps Regal as well. The most famous southpaws in wrestling, I think, were the Briscos and the Funks."

Weekly Headlines and My Reacts

WWE 24/7 drops 22 percent. REACT: People are dropping stuff they can do without, and unfortunately, this is one of those things.

WrestleMania XXV sells 40,000 tickets in first weekend. REACT: Totally different from WWE 24/7, as this is the biggest event of the year. I'm a little surprised WWE sold that many tickets, but good for them.

Elijah Burke was tabbed for the Spirit Squad. REACT: Burke had better success avoiding that group, as he lasted longer in WWE.

Source says Lena Yada was cut due to the hiring of Gail Kim. REACT: That's a true shame if that is true.

Kenny Dykstra happy to be gone from WWE. REACT: Don't look for WWE to be rehiring him anytime soon.

Matt Hardy's knee hurting. REACT: Hardy does insane stuff in the ring. Best of luck in his recovery and staying off the dreaded disabled list.

Bobby Lashley coming back to WWE. REACT: That would be a little bit of a surprise. Although most knew MMA wasn't his calling.

Sable (and Brock Lesnar) expecting a child shortly. REACT: Congrats to the new UFC Heavyweight Champion and the former WWE Diva. Speaking of Lesnar, an insane poll for f4wonline had 25 percent of voters saying Lesnar will go to TNA Wrestling and drop the belt to Kurt Angle.

Marc Mero's Altamonte Springs gym broken into last week. REACT: Some people.

Paul London out of wrestling and focusing on stunt work and acting. REACT: London has an actor's look, but who knows if he can speak -- he sure was limited on the microphone.

Mike Adamle upset about his removal from TV at the Nov. 3 Raw. REACT: I don't think too many viewers were disappointed.

Reid Flair's wrestling career put on hold. REACT: Good move. Make sure the kid is ready before you feed him to the wolves.

Ted DiBiase Jr. to be in The Marine 2. REACT: Interesting WWE doesn't have John Cena doing this one again.

WWE releases Armando Estrada. REACT: Too bad, as Estrada had great microphone presence. However, as is the case with all WWE releases, it comes down to "what have you done for me lately?"

Undertaker has been wrestling 18 years. REACT: Wow! That's a long time. And he's been relatively healthy and one of the big-time players the entire time.

Rick Martel's recent quotes about WWE. REACT: How refreshing to hear a former superstar thank the company and not bash it.

WWE referees to be assigned independently of brand. REACT: Another sign of the wonderful economic times.

Hornswoggle not in latest WWE video game because TMZ didn't like the idea of game players beating up on a midget. REACT: That's silly, because it's a video game!

TMZ's video of Rowdy Roddy Piper smoking marijuana from a bong in front of a crowd. REACT: Remember the days when there was no Internet? Poor, Piper.

Funaki's Kung Fu Naki gimmick (his idea) finally approved. REACT: Persistence does pay off.

WWE identifies Pat Patterson as Buddy Roberts in "The History of the Intercontinental Championship." REACT: Unfortunate, but mistakes happen.

Trish Stratus says if Beth Phoenix or Natalya call her out, she "wouldn't hesitate to step into the ring." REACT: Call her out!
