Playhouse puts Scrooge on the radio

For its production of "A Christmas Carol," the Daytona Playhouse will recreate Charles Dickens' classic tale as a radio drama being broadcast in 1939 -- with Orson Welles as the narrator.

Kris Kringle Christmas classic plays Peabody Auditorium

Kris Kringle goes on trial in a new touring production of "Miracle on 34th Street." Based on the 1947 film adapted from a story by Valentine Davies, the play tells the tale of a man named Kris Kringle, who takes a job as Santa at Macy's department store in New York City.
