I wanted to wait at least three episodes to recommend this show to you guys because I wanted to make sure it wouldn't suck after it's glorious one-hour premiere. But now, three weeks later, you need to be watching HBO's newest masterpiece, "Hung."

Starring Thomas Jane as down-on-his-luck school teacher, Ray Drecker, "Hung" tells the tale of a former high school sports legend who finds himself divorced, broke and owning a home that has been rendered unlivable by a late night fire.

Desperate to reclaim his life, Drekker tries to make his way in the world using the biggest tool he's got, his own.

Yep, it's a comedy about a guy who becomes a male prostitute. It's like the "Weeds" of awkward sex. But it's not just about that. It's about family as Drekker tries to become a better father to his kids all the while battling his ex-wife, played by Anne Heche.

And yes, it's about sex. And pimping.

Jane Adams, who plays Drekker's pimp, is a huge part of what makes the show brilliant. Her uncomfortable yet enterprising attitude makes Adams' Tanya Skagle one of the more intriguing characters on television.

So to sum up..."Hung." HBO. 10 p.m. Sunday nights between "True Blood" and "Entourage," two shows you should be watching anyway.
