Silver scream: 60 years of AAAAAAGH!
Whether you recognized it or not, you've heard The Scream. It's a high-pitched, wail of anguish that sounds like someone's getting his leg bitten off by an alligator, which, as it happens, is exactly the message it was intended to convey.

Leslie Nielsen: Surely he can't be gone
Comedians are goofy looking. Everyone knows that. They have odd hair or facial features that are just a touch off center, or maybe they have a strange way of talking that immediately clues you in that this is a class clown who made it big. Then there was Leslie Nielsen.
