After a five-year delay, with some singles here and there to keep us interested, "Weird Al" Yankovic returns in full force to remind us that it takes more than just a cute idea, a microphone and a YouTube account to be a music parody master.

For days Apple has been teasing us with news of a huge announcement to happen this morning. What could it be? Streaming cloud music? Apps for AppleTv? A less bloated iTunes app? Lower prices? Don't be silly. But it was pretty huge-ish.

So it's been a week since Steve Job descended from the mountain and brought us redesigned iPods, a smaller AppleTV thing, and (gasp!) a brand new social network! "Facebook and Twitter meets iTunes," Jobs declaimed, "but it's not Facebook, it's not Twitter. It's a social network all about music."

This Thursday night Orlando will explode with a non-stop, sight and sound, rock and roll extravaganza. Or, more accurately, a parody of a rock and roll extravaganza that's also pretty darn extravaganzy in its own right. "Weird Al" Yankovic is returning to Central Florida.
